DAY 19: GODLY MEN
Pray that God will raise up a generation of godly men who desire to shepherd their homes well. Pray for the fathers in your life to be committed to their children and to their wives. Ask for grace to fight against the temptations hurled at them by the enemy who lurks, waiting for an opportunity to devour them.
Be sober-minded, be alert. Your adversary the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour. Resist him, firm in the faith, knowing that the same kind of sufferings are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world. (1Pe 5:8-9)
Declaration:
But this is a people plundered and looted; they are all of them trapped in holes and hidden in prisons; they have become plunder with none to rescue, spoil with none to say, “Restore!” (Isaiah 42:22)
We declare: Restore! May His will be done.
